In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate transfer student.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must plan to attend Ashland University in Ohio.
  6. Must be one of two siblings who are both planning to attend Ashland University.
  7. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. freshmen and transfer students with a grade point average 2.5 planning to attend Ashland University are eligible for this award. The grant is offered when two siblings from the same family attend Ashland University full time.

Application requirements for the Ashland University Sibling Grant are:

  • Official Transcript
  • Application form
  • Personal statement (transfers)
  • ACT/SAT scores (incoming freshmen)
Additional Information: Students who receive an athletic scholarship do not qualify for this award. Recipients may qualify for other non-need-based Ashland University grants or scholarships with a maximum equal to tuition.

Award Amount: 50 percent of tuition annually, split equally at 25 percent per sibling, valued at approximately $9,454 per student. The award is renewable for up to three years, as long as both students remain enrolled at Ashland University and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $37,814.
