Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually, depending upon available funds and the number of eligible applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Priority will be given to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  4. Must be a college student with at least 45 completed transfer hours at the time of application.
  5. Must plan to enroll as a full-time student at Auburn University in Alabama.
  6. Must enroll in Auburn University.

Description: This undergraduate award is for U.S. community college students who have completed 45 credit hours, and have a 3.0 grade point average or higher. The student must enroll in Auburn University in Alabama.

Additional Information: Priority consideration is given to transfer students who have a minimum 3.5 transfer GPA, have earned a minimum of 45 transfer hours, demonstrate financial need, and have not previously been recognized with a scholarship valued at resident tuition or greater. Transfer students with the highest transfer GPAs and the greatest number of transfer hours are more likely to receive awards.

Award Amount: Up to $5,000 annually, renewable for an additional two years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

Applications for this scholarship are accepted beginning in December. Students must apply to Auburn University to be considered for this award. In addition, students must apply for any scholarships they wish to be considered for through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM). Students must also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline date to be considered for this award. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. Applications must be completed online through the AUSOM by the deadline date.
