In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a high school senior or older.
  4. Must be accepted Barclay College in Kansas.
  5. Must be a full time off-campus student
  6. Must have a grade point average of 2.3 or higher.
  7. Must have an SAT score of 430 or higher (writing) OR an ACT score of 18 or higher.

Description: This award is for U.S students who are planning to attend Barclay College. Students must enroll full time and meet the minimum admission standards of a grade point average of 2.3 or higher and an SAT score of 430 (writing) or higher or an ACT score of 18 or higher.

Additional Information: Barclay College is a private, Christian college. Barclay College will award Off-Campus Tuition Scholarships to all admitted full time, off-campus students who are not on academic probation. Regular admission to the college will be granted to students who meet all of the college's admissions standards, have completed high school or achieved a GED, have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.3 or better, and who have scores of at least 430 on the Writing section of the SAT or 18 on the English section of the ACT tests. Students who do not meet the requirements for regular admission may be permitted to attend the college under conditional or probationary admissions standards. These may include a limit on number of hours per semester, required study halls, remedial courses, or additional requirements designed to help the student make the transition to college and succeed.

Award Amount: $3,700 annually, renewable for up to three additional years providing the student maintains full time enrollment.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $16,400.
