Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. This is a highly selective program.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

This award is for U.S. students.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
Must rank in the top 10 percent of his/her graduating class.
Must have an SAT score of 1270 or higher OR an ACT score of 26 or higher.
Must plan to attend Concordia College of New York.
Must attend a college or university in New York.

Additional Information: The Fellows Program at Concordia College stimulates students academically, culturally and socially while challenging its members to make a difference at Concordia and beyond. Students who have achieved a high level of success during their high school years are encouraged to apply. The Fellows Program is highly selective and students must demonstrate their dedication to their studies as well as involvement in various activities on-campus. Every year, only a handful of new applicants are admitted into the Fellows Program. Applicants must have a proven dedication to service in school, community and church.

Award Amount: $41,150 annually, renewable for three additional years. The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $166,000.

Applications are available online from the Concordia College of New York website. The student must be accepted for admission prior to applying for the Honors Program.In addition to the completed application, the student must submit a 250-word statement explaining why he/she is interested in becoming a part of the Fellows Program and what makes him/her a suitable candidate; two letters of recommendation (in addition to those used for admission); a sample of work representing his/her academic and creative abilities; official transcripts; and test scores. Copies of a student’s official documents will be provided by the Office of Admission.For priority consideration, applications and supporting materials must be submitted by the deadline date.
