Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be employed in the roofing industry or have a parent employed in the roofing industry.
  5. Must reside in the WSRCA service area: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are employed in the roofing industry or have a parent who is employed in the roofing industry. Academic achievement and financial need will be considered during award selection.

Additional Information: Awards are based on both academic and personal achievements. Although financial need is not a requirement for the award, the Foundation will consider level of financial need as the final criteria if, in the judgment of the selection committee, candidates are otherwise ranked equally.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications and information about this award are available online at the Davis Memorial Foundation website using the link provided. To be considered for this award, students must first complete the online application form. In addition, the following items must be mailed to the foundation: an official transcript of all High School and College records; an official transcript of all Technical Trade school records (if applicable); a letter from the College, University or Technical Trade indicating provisional acceptance of the proposed course of study; A current picture (for publicity purposes only); and a completed recommendation form. All applications must be completed online and all supporting documents must be received at the listed postal address no later than the deadline date.
