Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a member of Golden Key International Honor Society.
  2. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  4. This award is for U.S. and international students.

Description: This scholarship is available for undergraduate members of the Golden Key Honor Society who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Additional Information: This award recognizes outstanding members of Golden Key who achieve academic excellence while balancing additional personal commitments (such as full-time work, family, etc.) Selection will be based primarily on academic achievements, educational and professional aspirations, as well as any obstacles or hardships that the applicant has had to overcome to get there.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available online on the Golden Key International Honour Society website. Applicants must attach the following documents to their electronic application: a resume; a personal statement of no more than 3 pages that details how the applicant exemplifies the Society’s commitment to academics, leadership and service; and a current and comprehensive academic transcript (unofficial copies are accepted). To apply for this scholarship, the student must first register his/her intent to apply by filling out the online form. The student will need his/her Golden Key membership number to register. The student will be prompted to apply for an Applicant Identification Number (AIN). After receiving his/her AIN (an immediate process), the student must enter the access key GKGEICODec to complete the application. After completion of the online form, the student must print the cover page. This page will be page one of his/her entire application submission.
