Additional Information: The Horton-Schultz-Seiders Scholarship for Taylor High School is provided annually in memory of the life and work of Alice Sophia Seiders Schultz, Robert Albert Schultz and their daughter Hattie Grace Schultz Horton. As long time residents of Taylor Texas, these individuals worked selflessly to advance the community and promote religious, cultural, and educational advancement within the region. In turn, a scholarship will be provided to a graduating high school senior in the city who also exemplifies these values. This scholarship is administered and managed through the Austin Community Foundation. Founded in 1977, the Austin Community Foundation has expanded to combine philanthropists, community leaders, and advanced financial management technologies. The foundation works to identify and assist the local populations in greatest need through a combination of scholarships, local initiatives, and grants.
