Description: The Idaho Nursing and Health Professionals Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for nursing and medical students who are attending a college or university in Idaho.

Additional Information: The Idaho Nursing and Health Professionals Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for Idaho's next generation of nurses, doctors, and physician's assistants. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate unmet financial need and a strong potential for success in a medical profession.

Award Amount: Approximately $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications are available on the Idaho Community Foundation website. Please note: The student may apply for all scholarships for which he/she is qualified; however, a separate application and supplemental materials must be submitted for each scholarship. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit the following materials: five one-page essays addressing the topics listed on the application; a copy of his/her most recent high school transcript, report card, or unofficial/uncertified college transcript; two letters of recommendation; and an additional short essay (one page or less) describing a challenge he/she has faced in his/her life and how he/she handled it. Applications must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
