Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE)

Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a current undergraduate student who has completed 15 or more credit hours.
  4. Must be 25 years of age or older.
  5. Must be a member of the Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE).
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
  7. Must enroll in six or more credit hours.

Additional Information: ANTSHE is an international partnership of students, academic professionals, institutions, and organizations whose mission is to encourage and coordinate support, education, and advocacy for the adult learner.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Applications are available on the Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE) website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must submit the following materials: a personal statement of no more than 500 words, two references, a copy of his/her transcript, and two letters of recommendation. At least one recommendation must be from a professor and the other can be from an advisor, mentor, staff member, community leader or work supervisor The application can be submitted online. The resume, two references, and two letters of recommendation must be emailed or mailed to the address provided.
