Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. *Please note: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must plan to enroll full time.
  3. Must have an SAT score of 1100 or higher (reading/math scores only) OR an ACT score of 24 or higher.
  4. Must desire to be part of a Christian community.
  5. Must be planning to attend Messiah College for the first time. Freshmen and transfer students are both eligible for this undergraduate award.
  6. Must attend Messiah College in Grantham, PA.
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  8. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to U.S. undergraduates who are first time students at Messiah College. The applicant must have an SAT score of 1100 or higher (reading/math scores only) or an ACT score of 24 or higher.

Application requirements for the Messiah College Provost’s Scholarship are:

  • Supplemental materials (based on status)
Additional Information: The Provost's Scholarships are based on a student's high school or transfer academic record. The admissions office uses official high school transcripts and official test scores to identify eligible first-time freshmen students. Transfer students are required to have a 3.0 cumulative college grade point average.

Award Amount: The award amount varies based on the student's test scores and class rank. Awards range from approximately $12,000 to $15,000. All awards are renewable for three additional years as long as the student maintains the required grade point average.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.
