In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend Midwestern State University.
  2. Must be a junior or senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be majoring in accounting.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Description: The MWH Group Accounting scholarship is available for juniors and seniors at Midwestern State University who are majoring in accounting. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Although not required for eligibility, additional consideration will be given to students who graduated from north Texas high schools, as well as accounting interns with the MWH Group.

Additional Information: The MWH Group Accounting Scholarship is provided annually by the MWH Group and administered through the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation. The program seeks to reward local area undergraduates who show a combination of academic achievement in the accounting field and unmet financial need. To be eligible for this award, students must be accounting majors at Midwestern State University who are in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. Additional preference will be given to applicants who graduated high school in northern Texas, as well as accounting interns at the MWH Group.

Award Amount: Scholarship amounts may vary depending on each recipient's demonstrated financial need. Awards may be renewed for up to one additional year of study.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
