  2. Must have completed a minimum of 12 college semester hours.
  3. Must plan to enroll full time.
  4. Must have a good academic record (recipients typically have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher).
  5. This award is for international students.

Description: This award is for International undergraduate students who are planning to transfer to North Park University in Illinois. The student must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours from colleges or universities in the United States and have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

Application requirements for the North Park University Academic Scholarship for International Transfer Students are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Official Transcript
  • Finance statement
  • TOEFL scores
Additional Information: North Park University offers Academic scholarships to incoming international students based on an evaluation of academic records at the time of admission. For additional information, visit the college website or contact the international counselor at 773-244-5510.

Award Amount: Awards range from $1,500 to $7,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years or until graduation, whichever occurs first.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.

To apply, eligible students must apply for admission to North Park University (NPU). A separate scholarship application is not required. Interested students must contact NPU admissions by phone, e-mail, mail, or website to request an application packet, or apply online from the college website. There is a processing fee for applying. In addition to the application the student must submit the following materials to be considered for admission: Official school transcripts; two references (one academic and one personal); TOEFL score demonstrating English proficiency; and a financial resources statement form. The deadlines to apply for International admission are: June 1 for the fall term and Oct. 1 for the spring term. Students will be notified of decision by office of admission once all application materials are received.
