Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all eligible students will be considered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  2. Must be an incoming first-year freshmen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  4. Must have a SAT score (reading/math) of 1000 to 1200 OR an ACT score of 21 to 24.
  5. Must plan to attend Ouachita Baptist University.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.
  7. Must plan to enroll full-time.
  8. Must attend a college or university in Arkansas.

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school seniors who are planning to attend Ouachita Baptist University. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and a SAT score (reading/math) between 1000 to 1200 or higher or an ACT score between 21 to 24.

Additional Information: Ouachita Baptist University is a church-related, liberal arts university whose aims are to meet the educational needs of students and to prepare students for places of leadership and service. Entering freshmen students will be automatically considered based on the combination of student's high school grade point average and SAT or ACT scores. All merit-based aid is calculated using official test scores from ACT and/or SAT and the grade point average as calculated by the Registrar’s Office.

Award Amount: $13,500 per year  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $54,000.
