Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually. One scholarship will be awarded to an Oklahoma resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy education program in Oklahoma while pursuing a graduate degree. Another scholarship will be awarded to an Oklahoma resident enrolled in an accredited or approved occupational therapy educational program in Oklahoma while pursuing a technical degree.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must pursue a career in occupational therapy.
  3. Must be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  4. Must be a member of the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association.
  5. Must enroll full time at an accredited college or university.
  6. Must be a resident of Oklahoma.
  7. Must attend an Oklahoma college or university.
  8. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  9. Must have completed at least one full year of occupational therapy coursework.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. college sophomores and/or graduate students who are residents of Oklahoma and who are currently attending a college/university in Oklahoma. Students must be members of both the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association and be pursing a career in occupational therapy.

Application requirements for the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Reference forms
Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Students are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify, but may receive only one scholarship per year. Post-baccalaureate graduate degrees require a dissertation, thesis, special project, or research component. Winners will be notified by April.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
