Description: The Olin E. Teague Scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who have expressed an interest in aerospace sciences.

Additional Information: The National Space Club provides this scholarship each year to honor the memory of the Olin E. Teague, a Representative in Congress who aggressively supported the United State's national space program. The scholarship program is intended to encourage talented young people to pursue careers in aerospace fields.

Award Amount: $4,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.

Applications and information about this award are available online at the National Space Club website using the link provided. To be considered for this award, the student must submit a completed application form as well as the following supplemental documents: an official transcript of high school records; at least one letter of recommendation from faculty member or a mentor from a STEM community; a statement of intent describing the applicant's academic goals; an essay of at least 500 words and no more than two pages regarding participation in some aspect of aerospace science and technology; and three page minimum research paper. Details about the format of the research paper may be found in the application form. All applications and supporting materials must be received no later than the deadline date.
