Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must attend Florida State College at Jacksonville.
  4. Must enroll in at least 10 credit hours per semester.
  5. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.

Description: This award is available for undergraduate students attending the Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and attend at least one Rotary Club meeting. Preference will be given to graduates of Lee, Paxon, Ed White, Forrest, Baldwin, or Stanton Preparatory High Schools, as well as students who are majoring in nursing.

Additional Information: Recipients must attend a Rotary Club Meeting. Please visit the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville website at www.westjaxrotary.org for meeting times, locations, and contact information. Graduates of Lee, Paxon, Ed White, Forrest, Baldwin, or Stanton Preparatory High Schools will be given preference. Preference will also be given to students in the Nursing or Allied Health degree or certificate program.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. This award can be used for tuition, books, and fees.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
