  1. Must attend Princeton University.
  2. Must be on the varsity football team.
  3. Must be a senior at the time of application.
  4. This award is for U.S. and international students.

Description: The Bailey Family Postgraduate Scholarship is available for a senior class member of Princeton University’s varsity football team who demonstrates courage, leadership, and service.

Additional Information: The Bailey Family Postgraduate Scholarship is provided annually by Mark and Laura Bailey, lifelong athletes and academics. The scholarship is an attempt to give back and recognize the scholar athlete tradition by assisting with the educational expenses of a student who exemplifies sports, study, and giving back to those around them.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.

Applications are available on the Silicon Valley Community Foundation website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must also submit the following: two letters of recommendation (the letters must be from the people listed on the application); an official transcript of grades; a personal statement addressing the topics listed on the application; evidence of financial need as described on the application; and proof of U.S. citizenship (photocopy of birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers). The complete application packet must be completed online by the deadline date.
