Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all qualified students will be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must plan to attend the University of Redlands.
  4. Must be a high school senior or older.
  5. Must have an SAT composite score of 1100 or higher or an ACT composite score of 23 or higher.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  7. Must attend a college or university in California.

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school students who are planning to attend the University of Redlands, CA. The student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and an SAT composite score of 1100 or higher or an ACT composite score of 23 or higher.

Application requirements for the University of Redlands Presidential Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Awards are automatically determined by the Office of Admissions at the time of admission. Holistic review of application includes emphasis on course rigor and course load in a college prepratory curriculum with balance of leadership and community service. Recipients come from the top portion of the entering class and in the upper quartile of GPA, SAT and/or ACT Composite scores.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, renewable for up to three additional years. Recipients must remain in good academic standing and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

To apply, students must apply for admission to the University of Redlands. A separate scholarship application is not required. Interested students must contact University of Redlands Admissions by phone, e-mail, mail, or website to request an application packet, or apply online from the college website. In addition to a complete application, students must also submit official high school and/or college transcripts with cumulative GPA, ACT/SAT test scores, a secondary school report form (also called the counselor recommendation), and a teacher evaluation form. Applications for admissions are accepted year-round. For scholarship consideration, applications must be submitted by the priority deadline date of November 15 or the regular decision deadline of January 15.
