Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must plan to attend the University of St. Francis in Indiana.
  3. Must plan to enroll full time.
  4. Must have a cumulative college grade point average of 3.3 or higher.
  5. Must be an incoming undergraduate transfer student.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Indiana.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to U.S. undergraduate college students who are planning to transfer to the University of St. Francis in Indiana. Students must have a cumulative college grade point average of 3.3 or higher.

Application requirements for the University of St. Francis Academic Transfer Scholarship are:

  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Awards cannot exceed tuition and fees after federal and state aid are applied.

Award Amount: $7,000 annually, renewable until completion of a bachelor's degree if the student maintains full-time enrollment and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Renewal criteria is verified at the end of each spring semester.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $21,000.

Program information is available on the University of St. Francis (USF) website by clicking on the 'Academic Scholarship Program' link. To apply for this scholarship, the student must apply for admission to USF and be admitted. A separate scholarship application is not required. Admissions information is available online at admissions.sf.edu/apply/freshmen/. In addition to a completed online admissions application, the student must submit high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores. A high school student may apply for admission any time after having completed six semesters of high school and having taken either the SAT or ACT test. Applications must be received no later than April 15 for priority scholarship consideration.
