Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student who has completed at least one course in his/her program.
  3. Must be enrolled in and planning to continue a distance education program at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
  4. Must be enrolled in one of the following eligible programs: business administration (undergraduate); criminal justice (undergraduate and graduate); organizational change leadership (graduate); integrated supply chain management (graduate); engineering (graduate); project management (graduate).
  5. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in any of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's distance education programs. Students must have completed at least one course in distance education, and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is a regionally accredited state university whose growing menu of 100 percent online degree programs are backed by 150 years of academic excellence fostered by a bricks-and-mortar campus.

Award Amount: $300 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $600.

Applications are available on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Distance Education website. In addition to a completed application, each student must submit the following materials: a copy of his/her resume; a copy of his/her transcript (unofficial sufficient); and an essay of no more than two pages addressing the topics listed on the application. The application and supporting materials must be emailed to [email protected] by the deadline date.
