Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
  4. Must be an incoming undergraduate transfer student.
  5. Must plan to transfer to Washington College in Maryland.
  6. Must enroll full time.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. college students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa will automatically receive this award upon transferring to Washington College in Maryland.

Application requirements for the Washington College Academic Tuition Scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa Members are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • App. fee
  • SAT/ACT scores
Additional Information: Some Phi Theta Kappa members qualify for additional awards that increase their total Academic Tuition Scholarship from $10,000 per year to $15,000 per year.

Award Amount: $10,000 or more annually, renewable for up to three years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and full-time enrollment.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $60,000.
