Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all eligible students will be considered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S students.
  2. Must be an incoming first-year freshmen.
  3. Must be accepted to and enrolled at Wilkes University.
  4. Must be a full-time student.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must have a combined SAT score of 1350 - 1499 or ACT score of 21 - 22.
  7. Must be ranked in the top fifty percent of his/her high school class.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school students who are planning to attend Wilkes University. The student must rank in the top 50 percent of his/her graduating high school class and have a SAT score of 1350 or higher or ACT score of 21 or higher.

Additional Information: Wilkes University is an independent university committed to learning, ethics, civic responsibility, and openness to cultural diversity. WU offers a variety of financial assistance options, including scholarships, grants, student employment, and loans, to incoming students. Commitment Awards are awarded based on class rank or SAT/ACT scores. The admission representative will notify the student of scholarship eligibility. Typically, 98% of WU students receive some kind of financial aid.

Award Amount: Up to $6,000 annually, renewable for three additional years by maintaining full time, uninterrupted enrollment with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $24,000.
