Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards vary.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  2. Must be between the ages of 17 and 26.
  3. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  4. Must have a score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores).
  5. Must meet physical standards.
  6. Must agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard) Serve full time in the Army for four years.

Description: Along with financial help, nursing students who are also Army ROTC Cadets can gain valuable leadership experience and management training that’s beneficial in a private-sector or military nursing career. Hone your clinical skills, develop your problem-solving techniques with this unique one-on-one clinical experience!

Application requirements for the Army ROTC Nursing 3 -Year Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The three-year scholarship is available for students already enrolled in a college or university with three academic years remaining. To be eligible you need to: • Be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 17 and 26 • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50 • Have a high school diploma or equivalent • Score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores) • Meet physical standards • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard) Serve full time in the Army for four years • Selected Cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career

Award Amount: Full tuition and fees, include a separate allowance for books, and a monthly stipend of up to $5,000 a year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
