Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be full-time students at an accredited college and university in the United States.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be FRA members in good standing, their spouses, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
  4. Must be the child of an FRA member.
  5. Must be a U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Up to $5,000 are awarded to enlisted members of the U.S. such as Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard pursuing college and graduate degrees. students must be full-time at accredited institutions. Military dependents such as spouses, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of current or deceased may also apply.

Application requirements for the Fleet Reserve Association Education Foundation Scholarship are:

  • School and community activities sheet.
Additional Information: The Fleet Reserve Association represents the interests of enlisted members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. FRA's Education Foundation sponsors a generous scholarship program that helps eligible students reach their educational and professional goals. And presents awards of up to $5,000 to individuals pursuing college and graduate degrees. The Foundation presents approximately $100,000 each year to recipients based on financial need, academic standing, character and leadership qualities. These may be available to Members, spouses, and dependent biological, step or adoptive children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of current or deceased members in good standing of the FRA.

Award Amount: Scholarships of up to $5,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
