Number of Awards & Eligibility: Approximately 5,000 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  3. The student's parent and/or spouse must have served in the Air Force.
  4. Must be a full-time student.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be a son, daughter, spouse, or surviving spouse of an Air Force member.
  7. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or older students planning to enroll full time in an undergraduate program of study. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and be the son, daughter, spouse, or surviving spouse of an Air Force member. Learn more and apply today!

Additional Information: This grant program remains competitive in its need-based selection criteria, uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education cost factors, and is administered by ACT Recognition Program Services. ACT, located in Iowa City IA, is an independent, not-for-profit organization with over 40 years experience in providing support services to scholarship sponsors.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable. Students must reapply and re-compete for this award each year. Students may receive the award for up to four years or until they are 23 years of age. The use of funds is limited to tuition, books and fees, or other direct educational expenses.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
