Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must be between the ages of 17 and 26.
  3. Must have a high school diploma or similar.
  4. Must meet physical standards.
  5. Must score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
  6. Must agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard) Serve full time in the Army for four years.
  7. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Description: The paid, three-week Nurse Summer Training Program assigns Army ROTC Cadets to Army hospitals throughout the U.S. and Germany. The program introduces nursing students to the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) and to the roles and duties of an Army Nurse Corps Officer. Learn from an experienced Army Nurse Corps Officer today!

Additional Information: The two-year Army ROTC nursing scholarship is available for those who have two academic years of college remaining. To be eligible you need to: • Be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 17 and 26 • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50 • Have a high school diploma or equivalent • Score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores) • Meet physical standards • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard) Serve full time in the Army for four years • Selected Cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career

Award Amount: Full tuition and fees, include a separate allowance for books, and a monthly stipend of up to $5,000 a year  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
