Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards given varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a college bound high senior or current undergraduate.
  2. Must be enrolled full time.
  3. Must be unmarried and under the age 23.

Description: This scholarship benefits dependent children of CG members (enlisted and commissioned officers) who lost their life in CG land, air, or sea operations. An eligible dependent may apply for this scholarship any time during the year. Successful applicants can expect awards ranging between $1,000 to $5,000.

Application requirements for the Fallen Heroes Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The scholarship is open to all children of Coast Guard Officers, enlisted members, active duty - reserve and retired.

Award Amount: Up to $5,000 scholarships offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $25,000.
