Those selected to attend will have their hotel and airfare expenses covered for the duration of the convention. The convention officially begins for all students (non-scholars as well) on Wednesday, June 22, and ends Saturday, June 24, 2016. Scholars invited to attend the convention will be expected to cover incidentals including meals not provided during regular convention programming, ground transportation (from/to airport in home city and convention city) and any personal charges placed on the hotel room account. Monetary awards are mailed after the NABA Annual National Convention. Each recipient will need to provide proof of enrollment for the fall semester. If the award is to be used towards tuition for the upcoming semester, students should be advised that it can take several weeks to receive the award once proof of enrollment is received.
