State of Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board
$250 to $2,500 annually, renewable up to three additional years.
Approximately 800 awards offered annually.
Awards under this program are made to Wisconsin resident minority undergraduates, excluding first year students, enrolled at an eligible Wisconsin private institution or technical college. Awards are based on financial need. Financial need is generally defined as the difference between the cost of attendance and the student’s expected family contribution (EFC). The EFC is determined by using the information reported in the FAFSA. Students who are delinquent in child support or maintenance payments or owe past support, medical expenses or birth expenses may not be awarded a Minority Retention Grant. Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible to receive a grant under this program.
Additional information about this award is available from the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board (WIHEAB) website. To apply, interested students must file the Free Application for Federal Stude ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
