Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, 130 scholarships were awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be of African American, Asian, Pacific Island, Native American, Native Alaskan, or Hispanic descent.
  5. Must enroll full time at an accredited four-year college or university.
  6. Must be enrolled in a technical science or engineering discipline that will lead to a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree.
  7. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate or graduate student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship is not available to spouses and children of Xerox employees.

Additional Information: Eligible applicants must have tuition or tuition-related expenses not covered by scholarships or grants (excluding loans). Scholarships will be awarded at the end of December of each year. Recipients of the current year scholarship will receive a letter announcing the award. Individuals not selected to receive an award will not be notified. Spouses and children of current Xerox employees are not eligible.

Award Amount: $1,000 to $10,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,500.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in July for a refreshed application deadline date. Applications are available online from the Xerox Corporation Student Careers website. As part of the online application, the student must upload a digital copy of his/her resume. Sample resumes are available on the Xerox website for reference. The student must also provide contact information for a person at his/her institution who can validate his/her tuition expenses and grade point average. The completed online application must be submitted by the deadline date.
