In an effort to diversify their campuses, many colleges and universities offer scholarships for minority students, including Hispanics and Latinos. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. Our Scholarship Directory contains many awards for students with a Hispanic ethnic background. In many cases, students must also satisfy other eligibility requirements, such as participation in a sport or a stellar grade point average. Hispanic Leaders Group of Greater St. Louis Scholarship Program

This award is available for Hispanic students who are residents of the St. Louis area. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and plan to an attend an accredited educational institution in the fall following application.

Gilbert G. Pompa Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. college seniors who are planning to attend law school. Applicants must be of Hispanic descent and plan to attend law school upon graduation.

Adelante HOPE - Alamo Community College District Scholarship

This award is for incoming college freshmen and current college students at any Alamo Community College district campus or the University of Texas at San Antonio. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

Adelante/Ford Motor Company Future Leaders Scholarship

This award is available for Hispanic students who have attended a high school in or around San Antonio, TX. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and plan on majoring in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.)

MillerCoors Colorado Scholarship

This award is available for Hispanic students who are residents of Colorado and are attending one of the Adelante partner universities in Colorado. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

MillerCoors Engineering & Sciences Scholarship

This undergraduate award is for U.S. junior or senior college students of Latino descent studying engineering or science. Recipients must be willing to participate in the Adelante Leadership Institute and/or a paid summer internship if it is available.

MillerCoors Chicago Scholarship

This undergraduate award is for current high school seniors and college stduents of Latino descent studying at a community college or university in Chicago, IL. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

MillerCoors National Scholarship

This undergraduate award is for U.S. junior or senior college stduents of Latino descent studying business. Recipients must be willing to participate in the Adelante Leadership Institute and/or a paid summer internship if it is available.

FIU Minority Community College Transfer Scholarship

This award is for U.S students who are residents of Florida and plan to attend FIU. The applicant must be a minority student who has completed an A.A. or A.S. degree from an accredited Florida community college.

Kaplan Leadership Program

This award is available for U.S. students in the New York area who are members of an underserved or underrepresented population and enrolled in or planning to enroll in an associate's degree program with the intention of transferring to a bachelor's program immediately upon completion of associate's degree. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, enroll full time, and receive federal or state financial aid.

Ken Inouye Memorial Scholarship

This award is available for minority students from Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and majoring in journalism. Applicants must have completed at least one full year of academic classes to be eligible for this scholarship.

Collective Bill Caspare Memorial Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. college students who are rising juniors and seniors at select New England institutions and are African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native American, multiracial, or LGBTQ. Students must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and interested in pursuing a career in new media/digital advertising and/or data science.
