Heritage. “Hispanics” are people who speak Spanish and may come from Cuba, Mexico or Spain.

Another one is TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarship is for DREAMers who live in states where they have no access to college. They may pay out of state tuition or their state will not admit them into its universities. The award could pay up to $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. You must have a DACA or TPS status or meet other immigration criteria. You must also be admitted to an approved Partner College. This award is available for minority students currently enrolled in a graduate program for nutrition, public health nutrition, physical education, or an American Dietetic Association-approved pre-professional practice program at an accredited California college or university. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed 12 to 15 units of graduate course work at the time of application.
