This year, there will be more Hispanic students starting college than any other minority group. College costs can be too expensive for many students, but scholarships are available. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. To qualify for scholarship money, Hispanic students should plan to show a good GPA and also good test scores. But, these aren’t the only factors for receiving scholarship money. Always check the rules and requirements for scholarships. Cedarville University One Campus Scholarship

U.S. Christian high school seniors who come from diverse ethnic backgrounds are eligible for this award. Students will be considered upon full-time admission to Cedarville University in Ohio.

Hyatt Hotels Fund for Minority Lodging Management Students

U.S. undergraduate students who will be juniors or seniors in the upcoming fall semester and are currently enrolled in a hospitality management program are eligible for this award. Students must be a minority (African-American, Hispanic, Native American/Alaskan, or Asian/Pacific Islander).

Rama Scholarship for the American Dream

This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in hospitality management at select AH&LEF-affiliated schools and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Preference is given to students of Asian-Indian descent and other minority groups, as well as JHM Hotel employees.

Montgomery Summer Research Diversity Fellowship

This award is available for U.S. students who are currently enrolled as college sophomores or juniors and will add diversity to the field of law and social science (e.g., ethnic minority, disabled, LGBTQ, etc.). To be eligible, the applicant must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be working toward a degree in the social sciences or humanities.

Scholarships awarded through this program are available on a competitive basis to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, community college transfer students, and graduate students who are of Hispanic heritage. The applicant must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher if a high school students or 2.5 or higher if an undergraduate or graduate student to be eligible.

This award is available for U.S. undergraduates with a grade point average of 2.75 or higher who are of either African, Asian/Pacific, Hispanic, or Native American heritage. The applicant must major in a field of study that has an emphasis on public relations, marketing or advertising; or must minor in communications with desire to pursue a career in public relations, marketing or advertising.
