In an effort to diversify their campuses, many colleges and universities offer scholarships for minority students, including Hispanics and Latinos. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. Our Scholarship Directory contains many awards for students with a Hispanic ethnic background. In many cases, students must also satisfy other eligibility requirements, such as participation in a sport or a stellar grade point average. APTA Minority Scholarship for Physical Therapist Students

This award is available to minority students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents majoring in physical therapy and maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This award is available for minority students who are currently attending FSU or USF. Applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student in a program of library science.

This award is available for Cuban-American undergraduate students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Applicants must also demonstrate unmet financial need.

Colby College Ralph J. Bunche Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who are planning to attend Colby College. Students must demonstrate scholastic strength and leadership potential and must be African American, Latino/Latina, Asian American, or Native American.

This award is available to women studying geological science at the graduate level. Applicants must have at least one full year of study remaining and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

CGSM Fellowship for Talented Minorities

Students with a bachelor's degree who are planning to pursue a graduate degree full time at one of the Consortium-member schools are eligible for this award. Students must be African-American, Hispanic-American or Native-American and be planning to pursue a managerial career in business, government or non-profit organizations.
