This year, there will be more Hispanic students starting college than any other minority group. College costs can be too expensive for many students, but scholarships are available. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. To qualify for scholarship money, Hispanic students should plan to show a good GPA and also good test scores. But, these aren’t the only factors for receiving scholarship money. Always check the rules and requirements for scholarships. Royce Osborn Minority Student Scholarship

This award is for U.S. minority undergraduate students who are enrolled in an entry-level radiography, sonography, magnetic resonance, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine program. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; the student's program director must verify the grade point average based on one or more semesters of study.

MALDEF Law School Scholarship

This award is available for Hispanic students who will be enrolled full time in a law program during the upcoming school year. Selection will be made by considering the following: involvement in and commitment to serve the Hispanic community through the legal profession; academic and professional achievement; and financial need.

Jackie Robinson Scholarship

U.S. minority high school seniors with an SAT score of 1000 or higher or an ACT score of 21 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to community service, and financial need.

Colgate 'Bright Smiles, Bright Futures' Minority Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. students who are studying in a certificate or associate's program for dental hygiene and are professional or student members of ADHA. Students must be an underrepresented minority in the dental hygiene profession (e.g., African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, and males).

This scholarship is open to international and U.S. students who are in the final two years of undergraduate program or a graduate program in landscape architecture. Students must be of African American, Hispanic, Native American, or other cultural/ethnic minority heritage.

The Destino Scholarship Fund is available for Latina and Latino high school seniors who are graduating from a high school in Ventura County, California. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and unmet financial need.

Fifth Third Bank of Central Indiana Scholarship

This award is available for current high school seniors who are members of the Future Farmers of America, represent an ethnic minority group, and have participated in community service. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be a resident of an eligible Indiana county and plan to attend an Indiana college/university.

This award is for U.S. medical students who are from a racial or ethnic group that is traditionally under-represented among American physicians.

Marsh Minority Scholarship

Hispanic or African American junior college students or older are eligible for this award. Applicant must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and major in education, nursing, allied health, sociology or general studies at West Texas A&M University.
