Number of Awards & Eligibility: Fifty to sixty awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be pursuing a degree in business administration.
  4. Must be a minority.
  5. Must be planning a career in financial services.
  6. Must enroll full time.
  7. Must have been accepted into a master's degree program.

Additional Information: The Robert Toigo Foundation was founded 16 years ago to encourage exceptional minority students to consider finance, not only as a rewarding career, but also as an opportunity to be the future leaders in the global economy. The Robert Toigo Foundation's goal is ambitious: to create a self-sustaining structure that leverages finance as a vehicle to promote positive social change. Fellows are required to secure both summer internships between his/her first and second year and full-time employment in the financial services industry after graduation. The Robert Toigo Foundation requires all Fellows to sign a contract affirming his/her commitment to an internship in financial services and a full-time finance-related job for two years following graduation. Finalists for the Robert Toigo fellowship are required to appear for an interview by invitation in either New York or San Francisco.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, renewable for one additional year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

Applications are available online on the Robert Toigo Foundation website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit his/her college transcript of grades, GMAT scores, a copy of his/her formal letter(s) of admission into an MBA program, and an application fee of $70 which must be submitted online. The application should be submitted online on the Robert Toigo Foundation website, while all supporting materials must be submitted to the address provided, and be received no later than one week after the application deadline date.
