$1,000 to $2,000 annually, non-renewable. The level of scholarship funding is dependent on the number of hours enrolled in graduate studies. The scholarship can only be used for tuition and books. Recipients must provide a copy of semester grades to AIEF at the end of each semester.
The number of awards offered varies annually. In previous years, 37 scholarships were awarded.
The American Indian Education Foundation was established to support educational opportunities for American Indian and Alaska Native students. Scholarships are awarded for each school year and are chosen by a national selection committee. Decisions are based on an overall assessment of the application. Awarded students only will be notified in early July. These students must provide a copy of their letter of admission to graduate school. Please note: Students attending online colleges are not eligible, nor are students who have completed all but their dissertation (ABD).
