Award Amount

Graduating high school seniors receive $2,000 annually, non-renewable. Current college students receive $2,500 annually, non-renewable.


The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, 28 awards were given.

Additional Information

To honor Truman D. Picard, the ITC established a scholarship program in his name. Mr. Picard served on the ITC Board of Directors from 1982 to 1985. The ITC has cooperative financial aid agreements with the University of Washington and Salish Kootenai College. Recipients of the ITC Truman Picard Scholarship are eligible to receive additional scholarships, including tuition waivers, if they attend these institutions.
