  1. Must be an Indiana resident
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  3. Must be a full-time student
  4. Should be in a field for teaching and working towards becoming a teacher

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The William A. Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship is available to minority students (defined as black and Hispanic individuals) who intend to pursue, or are currently pursuing, a course of study that would enable them to teach in an accredited school in Indiana. Students must agree in writing to apply for teaching positions in Indiana and, if hired, teach in Indiana for at least three years.

Additional Information: Students can continue applying annually for this scholarship, but must make sure to reapply on website while also maintaining GPA requirements.

Award Amount: Applicants can earn up to $4000 annually   The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
