Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a minority. Please note: The JRF uses the U.S. Census Bureau definition of "minority". The student is encouraged to apply if he/she feels that he/she is part of a minority group.
  4. Must have an SAT score of 1000 or higher (critical reading and math only) OR an ACT composite score of 21 or higher.
  5. Must be a high school senior at time of application and plan to attend an accredited, approved four-year institution in the United States in the fall following high school graduation. Please note: The student cannot possess a degree from a two- or four-year college at time of application.
  6. Must demonstrate a commitment to community service.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to address financial needs of minority students pursuing an education. U.S minority high school seniors with SAT scores of 1000 or higher or ACT scores of 21 or higher are eligible. Financial need and other factors will be taken in consideration.

Application requirements for the Jackie Robinson Annual Scholarship are:

  • Interview
  • Recommendation letter
  • FAFSA
  • Application form
  • ACT/SAT scores
  • Photograph
Additional Information: All applicants must show leadership potential and present evidence of financial need.

Award Amount: Up to $7,500 annually, for four years totaling $30,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $30,000.
