Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be working at least one year, full-time at a JCC while in school.
  2. Must be pursuing a degree on a full- or part-time basis.
  3. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.

Description: The Professional Development Scholarship is available for full time or part time graduate degree students (does not need to be an applicant’s first graduate degree). Additional Information: The JCC Association of North America leads Jewish Community Centers, YM-YWHAs and camps throughout North America. Their Professional Development Scholarship Program aims to advance JCC professionals’ careers by investing money in those with aspirations to gain more knowledge. The hope is that this will in turn, keep the best and brightest in the JCC Movement. JCC Association will invest these funds in expanding educational opportunities for their current professionals. There are a range of scholarships available.

Award Amount: The scholarship value is up to $20,000. Awards are renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.

Applicants must fill out a form on the provider website. Aside from a completed application, degree applicants will be required to provide a recommendation from Executive Director, second recommendation from current or previous supervisor, essay, brochure / outline of degree and program requirements, an outline of program costs and funding requested and a potential interview if applicant makes it to second round.
