WMU Foundation Scholarships

The WMU Foundation provides a variety of scholarships for Southern Baptist missionary kids and individuals preparing for missions service. It was set up in 1995 by Dr. Dellanna O’Brian, a former executive director of national Women’s Missionary Union (WMU). They also have two available endowments for Missionary Kids and their homeschooling missionary parents.

TRSRM Foundation Scholarship

The Reverend Servio R. Moscoso Foundation was founded in 2021 as a nonprofit organization to honor and celebrate the next generation of community Latino leaders. The scholarship is named after the late Reverend Servio R. Moscoso in honor of his memory and legacy as a dedicated servant to his community. It will provide exceptional students who have dedicated their time to bettering their community with the resources needed to complete a higher level of education.

Samuel Robinson Award

The Samuel Robinson Award seeks to stimulate interest in the Westminster Shorter Catechism by challenging Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) members who are juniors or seniors in college and attending a Presbyterian-related college or university to memorize and recite the catechism from memory. To further demonstrate understanding, student will have the option to write an essay on an assigned topic or complete a project to be considered for additional awards. Applicants will memorize and recite the catechism from memory. Recitation applicants will be considered for an award of up to $2,000. Supplemental awards are available for students who write an essay on an assigned topic (up to $2,000) and/or design a modern catechism (up to $4,000). The largest possible award is up to $8,000 for Recitation, Essay, and Catechism project.

Christian Connector “Your RoadMap” $2,000 Christian College Scholarship

This scholarship is available U.S. high school students who plan to enroll in a Christian college. The student must enroll full time in a Christian college within 16 months of notification that he/she has won the drawing.

Catholic Order of Foresters is interested in developing future leaders for the Church and the community. This award is for high school seniors who will be entering college. Wesleyan College Margaret A. Pitts Endowed Scholarship for Methodist Students

This scholarship is open to U.S. and international students who enroll as first-time freshmen at Wesleyan College in Georgia (a women’s college). Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and an SAT score of 1000 or higher or an ACT score of 21 or higher; students must also be active members of a United Methodist church.

The Ruth Scholarship

The RUTH SCHOLARSHIP is designed to be awarded for women ages 16-25, who have overcome adversity whether it be by breaking with their past, or have found themselves in a situation not unlike the young woman of the Old Testament story. The book of Ruth provides a wonderful picture of a young woman giving up all that is familiar to honor her mother-in-law—and ultimately God. Her sacrifice eventually placed her in the lineage of Christ and gave her a permanent place in history.
