Description: The WMU Foundation provides a variety of scholarships for Southern Baptist missionary kids and individuals preparing for missions service. It was set up in 1995 by Dr. Dellanna O’Brian, a former executive director of national Women’s Missionary Union (WMU). They also have two available endowments for Missionary Kids and their homeschooling missionary parents.

Application requirements for the WMU Foundation Scholarships are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: This shcolarship is for Southern Baptist students, including the children of Baptist missionaries (NAMB & IMB), and those preparing for Baptist missions service. Individuals with no current Baptist connection cannot be considered for a scholarship.

Award Amount: The amounts given varies.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
