Community Colleges are often a great alternative to four-year colleges and universities. BJ Eckardt Scholarship

This scholarship is open to residents of Belmont, NH, who are entering their second year of college at any of the seven Community College System of New Hampshire institutions. Students must have financial need and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; preference will be given to students who have participated in volunteer community service.

David A. Copestakes Memorial Scholarship

This award is for U.S undergraduate students who are residents of New Hampshire and attend Great Bay Community College or NHTI-Concord's Community College. The student must major in electronic engineering or biotechnology.

Quentin C. Walsh Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students in Manchester Community College's building construction program who have completed at least one semester of full-time study. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and have financial need.

Agnes M. Lindsay Trust Scholarship

This award is for U.S students who are permanent residents of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts, and are residents of towns or cities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants. The student must be enrolled at one of the Community College System of New Hampshire's seven colleges and display financial need.

Patricia Bottino Scholarship for Nursing Students

This scholarship is open to full-time students at any of the campuses of the Community College System of New Hampshire who are pursuing associate's degrees in nursing. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

American Automobile Association of Northern New England Scholarship

This scholarship is open to New Hampshire studets who are enrolled full time in the automotive technology program at Lakes Region, Manchester, Nashua, or White Mountains community colleges in New Hampshire. Students must have filed a FAFSA with their financial aid office.

CCSNH NASA Space Grant Scholarship

This award is for U.S students who plan to enroll at one of the Community College System of New Hampshire colleges. The student must demonstrate interest and pursue a program in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) field.

Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship

The Grungo Colarulo Giving Back to the Community Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. To apply, applicants must submit an essay about their experiences with community service.

Pursuit Scholarship Competition

The Pursuit Scholarship Competition is available for incoming college freshman, sophomores, and juniors who submit an essay or video in response to one of the topics listed at the competition site.

The Excelsior Scholarship Program is available for New York State residents who have an adjusted gross household income of $125,000 or less. Applicants must attend an undergraduate program at a SUNY or CUNY college and must enroll full time.
