In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must qualify for free or reduced school lunch costs.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must reside in Hillsborough County, Florida.
  6. Must be active in sports.
  7. Must attend Hillsborough Community College.
