Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must be a resident of Nassau County in Florida.
  5. Must be a full-time student.
  6. Must attend Florida Community College at Jacksonville (FL).
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  8. Must be returning to school after an absence from education.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Betty P. Cook Endowed Scholarship is available for residents of Nassau County, Florida who are enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate unmet financial need. This award is intended for students who are returning to school after an absence from education.

Additional Information: The Florida State College Foundation strives to help individuals who need financial assistance in order to take advantage of these educational opportunities.  Each year, approximately 1,000 students receive aid with financial support.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
