Community Colleges are often a great alternative to four-year colleges and universities. They are more likely to be close to home, tuition is usually much lower than the price of other in-state public universities, and most community colleges offer excellent educational opportunities across a variety of majors and vocational training programs. PHCC Massachusetts Auxiliary Scholarship

U.S. and Canadian citizens who are residents of Massachusetts and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a plumbing or HVACR apprenticeship, two-year school, or four-year college or university.

CCSNH Early Childhood Education Tuition Assistance Program

This award is for U.S students who are residents of New Hampshire and plan to enroll at an eligible New Hampshire community college. The student must be currently employed, at least part-time, in a NH licensed (or license-exempt) early childhood program, or a licensed family child care program, and must be taking early childhood courses through CCSNH.

Great Bay Community College New Hampshire Valedictorian Scholarship

This award is available to New England high school students who graduate from an accredited NE high school and plan to attend Great Bay Community College. The student must be of Valedictorian status.

North Carolina Community College Grant Program

This award is for North Carolina students who are enrolled at North Carolina community colleges. The student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA.

North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (ELS)

This award is for North Carolina undergraduate students who are attending North Carolina colleges or universities. The student must demonstrate financial need by having a federally calculated Expected Family Contribution of $5,000 or less, as determined by the FAFSA.

Time Customer Service HCC Scholarship

This scholarship is available for minorities students who are currently enrolled as high school seniors in Hillsborough County, Florida. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and must qualify for free or reduced school lunches.

Beverage Industry Community College Scholarship

This award is available to California students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher who are transferring to a four-year college or university to study full time. To be eligible, the student's parents and/or grandparents must be the proprieters of an establishment with a California liquor license or be employed full-time by an individual or corporation with a California liquor license.

The scholarship is for students involved in forensics, theater, dance or the arts who plan to attend Tallahassee Community College.

This award is available to Mississippi high school seniors who plan to enroll full time at a Mississippi public community college or university. Students must have high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and scored a 20 or higher on the ACT or a 940 or higher on the SAT.

U.S. college students who have earned 24 or more credit hours at a community college and are planning to attend Southeast Missouri State University are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be nominated.

Miami Dade College Alexa Sophia Kaufman Scholarship

U.S. undergraduate students who are female and attending Miami Dade College, Hialeah Campus are eligible for this award. Students must plan to transfer to Miami Dade College Medical Campus and enroll in a health services program.
