Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a second year BSN student attending Wenatchee Valley College.
  2. Must be majoring in nursing.

Description: The Bolyard Family Nursing Scholarship is available for second year nursing students at Wenatchee Valley College.

Application requirements for the Bolyard Family Nursing Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Student Aid Report
Additional Information: The selection of scholarship recipients will be based primarily on a combination of academic achievements, strength of recommendations, and unmet fianncial need as calculated by the applicant's expected financial contribution. The Bolyard Family Nursing Scholarship selection committee will also consider evidence of strong moral character, sound judgment, and enthusiasm for pursuing a career in nursing. Recipients will be notified in early May and will be required to provide additional documentation such as a signed scholarship agreement and verification of enrollment.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. All funds will be deposited directly with the financial aid office of Wenatchee Valley College.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
