Description: The Mila Boyd Law Offices Scholarship Contest is available for current college students who submit an original essay or video describing why they wish to pursue a career in law.

Additional Information: The Mila Boyd Law Offices Scholarship Contest is provided annually and is available to college students who wish to pursue a career in law. Students are encouraged to think deeply about their personal motivations for choosing a legal profession. Award selection will be based primarily on the quality of essays and videos received. One winner will be selected and notified in August. The winner's name and his/her video or essay submission may be publicly published at the Mila Boyd Law Offices website as well as any participating media outlets. Students who do not wish to be publicized must contact the scholarship sponsor in writing.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions and additional information about the Mila Boyd Law Offices Scholarship Contest is available using the provided links. To apply for this scholarship, students may choose to submit an original essay or video. All submissions must describe why the applicant wishes to pursue a career in law. Video submissions must be between one and two minutes in length and published publicly to Youtube with a link to the scholarship page in the video's description section. Videos must also be submitted to the Mila Boyd Law Offices Facebook page and shared on the student's personal Facebook page. Students choosing the essay option must write an original response of between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length and submit their writing to the provided email address. All submissions must be received no later than the deadline date.
