Description: The Law Office of A. Sam Jubran Scholarship Contest is available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and currently enrolled law school students who wish to pursue a career as a lawyer.

Additional Information: The Law Office of A. Sam Jubran Scholarship Contest is provided annually in hopes of achieving the following three goals: provide financial aid to a college student; encourage students to understand their personal motivation for a career in the legal field; inspire students to pursue a career in law. One winner will be selected in late August from all the eligible entries received. Evaluation of submissions will be based on personal insight & introspection, creativity, originality, and overall quality.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amount of $1,000. All awards are one-time awards and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Instructions for application and additional information about the Law Office of A. Sam Jubran Scholarship Contest are available using the provided links. There are two ways to apply for this scholarship program: students may submit a video or an essay. All submissions must focus on the applicant's desire to become a lawyer. Video submissions must be between one and two minutes in length and published publicly to Youtube. Videos must also be submitted to the Law Office of A. Sam Jubran Facebook page and shared on the student's personal Facebook page. Students choosing the essay option must write an original response of between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length and submit their writing to the provided email address. All submissions must be received no later than the deadline date.
