Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. Last year, seven scholarships were provided.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must attend a college or university located within the 50 U.S. states.
  4. Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited LVN/LPN, RN degree (ADN or BSN), diploma, or RN-to-BSN program.
  5. This award is for nursing students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Application requirements for the A Nurse I Am Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
Additional Information: To participate, the applicant will need to watch either version of "A Nurse I Am" - the 32-minute educational version or the 62-minute documentary. It is highly recommended that he/she watches both.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $14,000.

All applications and supporting documents must be submitted online no later than the deadline date. Applications open February 1.
